Garfield's Eating Topics

After lots of deliberation in between naptime, Garfield is now really determined to do his thesis. The topic will be all about eating, a subject very close to his heart. But for some reason, he's not totally satisfied with it. It seems incomplete somehow. So, he asked the opinions of Uncle Jon and his friends, just to see if they can see something wrong with his topic. Uncle John, sometimes the wise man, advised that Garfield should be more specific about his topic. The “eating” subject is very general and can cover a lot of directions, from healthy foods to eating materials to food preparation. If Garfield will choose a general topic, his train of thoughts may fly from all sorts of directions, confusing not only the readers by maybe Garfield himself.

Uncle Jon then recommended that Garfield can narrow down his “eating” topic by focusing on Garfield's own favorite foods or eating habits. He gave suggestions like “sleeping after eating,” “lasagna,” “cat food,” and “fish.” Garfield considered all these and likes the last three subjects. He ignored the “sleeping after eating” topic because he feels Uncle Jon is just teasing him about it.

Now, Garfield is confused again. He doesn't know what to choose from those three topics that Uncle Jon suggested. Garfield even tried Math as a last resort. He broke his topics into the percentage of how much he wants to write about them, but it didn't really work. He wants to do the lasagna topic by 33%, the cat food by 33%, and the fish topic also by 33%. He doesn't know what topic he will choose because he absolutely loves those three. He's stuck thinking, and all that thinking is just making him hungry.

Let us help him decide on what topic he should do.
